- Tactual learning means that a learner learns by touching things: touching numbers on a chart, touching a model, etc.
- Kinesthetic learning means that a learner learns through holding, moving, manipulating, and transforming.
- Visual learning means that a learner learns by seeing things: print, charts, graphs, pictures, movies, etc.
- Auditory learning means that a learner learns by hearing things: music, speech, and environmental sounds.
