The Harbinger is a collaborative effort to further enlighten the minds of students, teachers, and members of the Hereford community. From global news to local concerns, the staff ensures a well-rounded paper with a variety of articles appealing to all personalities and viewpoints.

Established 50 years ago, The Harbinger has come a long way. From the printing press and typewriter to the modern day PC's and desktop publishing, newspaper has changed from past to present, combining new forms of technology. Consisting of fifteen to twenty-five members, the newspaper effort has been channeled into a semester long class. Typically producing a twelve page paper each quarter, The Harbinger newspaper has much to offer to both the school and community. Uniting the writing and editing skills of each member with visual appeal, the publication is a team effort.
