Mu Alpha Theta is the Math Honor Society. Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in students.

Mu Alpha Theta entered the 2005-2006 National Log 1 Contest. The first round, a 15-problem, 30-minute, individual test of general mathematics knowledge, was administered on Tuesday, November 15.

The club also plans to participate in the National Assessment & Testing Mathematics Competitions.

Students must complete four credits of mathematics and have at least a 3.0 grade point average to join Mu Alpha Theta.
