Hereford High School sends several teams to the annual Baltimore County Physics Olympics held in late February. Students begin preparation in January. Competitions are based on using physics principles to solve both theoretical and practical problems. Some events involve construction of simple devices or structures to meet defined objectives. All physics students are invited to participate.
