Attention 10th grade students!
NHD 2024

Attention all World History students! Get ready to bring together research and creativity! You will get a choice in the topic and the product for your National History Day project. You will choose a "Turning Point In History". A turning point in history is more than just an important event that happened a long time ago. It is more than a new idea, or a particular action taken by an individual. A turning point is an idea, event, or action that directly, or sometimes indirectly, causes change. Your turning point can be a topic related to Hereford, Baltimore, Maryland, the U.S., or somewhere else around the world! You can choose any time period in history! We will get to sort through primary and secondary resources to create a historical argument about the importance of your turning point in history. Visit www.nhd.org or email Mr. Jeff Walters at [email protected] with questions!
