A student may make an appointment to see a guidance counselor by stopping in the guidance office and speaking with the secretary. It is best to do this before or after school or during Enrichment. College Planning allows students to do online college searches and counseling. See your counselor for the user id and password.
Counselors perform a variety of functions including:
Counseling students regarding school-related and personal issues.
Tracking student progress with the completion of graduation requirements.
Assisting students with career and post-secondary planning.
Disseminating information regarding educational and scholarship opportunities.
