
The Maryland State Seal of Biliteracy is awarded to students who demonstrate an intermediate high proficiency level or higher in a language other than English. Students can earn the Seal in one of two ways:
1) By earning a score of 4 or 5 on an AP Language and Culture Exam.
2) By earning a composite score of I5 or higher on the ACTFL AAPPL exam.
