Abnormal Psychology Student testimonials:

"Abnormal Psychology is a great learning experience for everyone. There were some people in my class who planned to study psych in college and some people who weren’t familiar with psych at all, and everyone seemed to enjoy it equally. Not only is it interesting, but it’s straightforward and not overwhelming if you have a busy schedule. I’d recommend it to everyone." - H.B. c/o 2021

"AB Psych was by far my favorite class that I have ever taken. You get to learn about many different and unique mental disorders from documentaries, case studies, and class discussions. If you are interested in the material, the workload will seem small. I know that personally I never felt stressed when it came to this class and getting things turned in on time. I felt like I benefited from taking this class, not only because it confirmed that I want to study psychology in the future, but also because it felt like a fun relaxing period in the middle of the day. If you are thinking about taking Abnormal Psychology, I would highly advise that you do." - R.M. c/o 2021

"Abnormal psychology, like most courses, is one which offers an amount of insight and benefit directly proportional to how much effort you're willing to put in. It is not a particularly challenging class, though, I found it to be enriching and arguably necessary. If you decide to take this course, you will have a lot of autonomy. Classes will be spent discussing the basics of a disorder, watching informative documentaries, examining case studies of patients with a particular disorder, discussing content and its implications in groups, or writing personal reflection papers. In short, it is an enjoyable course filled with analysis and subsequent discussion; it's very conversational." - V.S. c/o 2021
