FFA

Club Description:

The Hereford High School FFA chapter provides opportunities for exploration and growth to students who are interested in all areas of agriculture such as horticulture, landscaping, forestry, wildlife, agricultural mechanics, animal science, and much, much more. By participating in FFA, students also develop critical leadership skills.  Activities for the club may be held in the classroom, the community, and beyond. Members may also assist in local, state, and national community service activities. Students compete in career development events (CDEs) across the state in a variety of agricultural areas. Members also have opportunities to participate in local, regional, state, and national leadership events such as conferences, conventions, leadership camps, and retreats.  Opportunities for scholarships are also available to FFA members.

 

Cost of Dues:

Dues - $20

General chapters are meetings are held the last Fridays of each month and socials are held ones a quarter on Thursdays. 

CDE meetings are held as needed and specified by your CDE coach.
