Robotics

Hereford high school robotics is now AIR, LAND and SEA! The 2014 -15 school year saw the introduction of Unmanned Air Vehicles (Drones) and SeaPerch submersible ROV, to compliment our very successful VEX robotics club.

Hereford Zone Robotics uses robotics to achieve the following goals:

HZR strive to spread understanding and appreciation for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in our community.

HZR aims to be role models in our community, using our knowledge and Resources, to help other teams succeed.

HZR encourages collaborative learning both within our team and in our community as a whole. Students meet and work with other robotics teams locally and nationally, building friendships and learning from others.

HZR works to promote life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, time management, accountability and prepare members for leadership roles in our community and professional lives.

HZR provides students opportunities to experience real-world engineering, be involved in technical and nontechnical processes and work with industry professionals
